Curriculum Students - Applying for Financial Aid
To apply for financial aid, follow these steps:
2. Apply through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
BRCC federal school code: 009684
The Financial Aid Office uses the "FAFSA" to determine the student's eligibility for federal, state, or institutional aid. Students should review their "Student Aid Report" for accuracy. Students should submit a "FAFSA" for each year they are enrolled.
3. Request to have official copies of the High School, High School Equivalency Diploma, or Adult High School transcripts sent to the Registrar’s Office.

4. Speak with an Admissions Counselor to complete the admissions requirements and to declare a major.
If additional information is needed, the Financial Aid Office will contact students via their BRCC email. Students not currently enrolled will be contacted by mail.
When financial aid is awarded, current students will be notified through the BRCC email that the award letter can be viewed in Web Advisor. Students not currently enrolled will receive their award letter by mail.
