Sierra Nevada Brewing Company
Sierra Nevada Brewing Company is close to opening their East Coast manufacturing and distribution site in Henderson County at Mills River. BRCC is providing critical technical training and development activities — WorkKeys profiling, assessments, and recruitment/ screening efforts — through a Customized Training project that supports the venture.
Continental Automotive Systems
Continental Automotive Systems in Henderson County at Fletcher has grown significantly over the last few years in product mix, labor, and physical expansion. To ensure their success, BRCC has worked hand in hand with a company team to develop and deliver customized training in leadership, safety, computer knowledge, and technical training.
Legacy Paddlesports, a kayak manufacturer of whitewater, crossover, and fishing boats, moved to Henderson County to be near the Green River and embrace the outdoor culture of the area. Prior to the move, BRCC had begun customized development activities to deliver needed training for a successful arrival. BRCC continues to help them grow.
When the Finnish-owned company UPM Raflatac, a global leader in pressure sensitive labelstock, chose Fletcher for the manufacture of one of its technologies (Radio Frequency Identification Device imbedded tags and inlays), BRCC provided quality training and development activities, including WorkKeys profiling, through a Customized Training project.
Sylvan Sport, a manufacturer of light-weight campers in Brevard, turned to a BRCC Custom Training activity to assist them in developing their personnel’s welding expertise.
When German nylon tank manufacturer Elkamet Inc. chose Henderson County as its first North American production site, BRCC was involved. The partnership resulted in a Customized Training project that included developing WorkKeys profiling in Germany and creating a technical operator manual, as well as a company recruitment and training video. BRCC was involved in the recruitment, screening, assessing interviewing and the pre-hire/post-hire training of the personnel to staff the new facility.
The Excelsior Packaging Group
Through Customized Training, a manufacturer of flexible plastic packaging in Rosman, works closely with BRCC to ensure their personnel maintain the regulatory knowledge and skill sets needed for production.
