|1. Complete your NC Residency Determination forms first|
Complete the RDS (Residency Determination Service) first to start your Admissions process. The Application for Admission cannot be submitted without first obtaining your RCN (Residency Certification Number).
Visit the RDS website and click on the “Initial Consideration” tab for a list of documents you may need to provide throughout the RDS process.
|2. Choose your career path / choose your program of study|
If you are undecided about career goals, speak with a Student Services Admissions Counselor by calling (828) 694-1800 or 883-2520 or make an appointment to talk with a career counselor in the NCWorks Career Center by calling (828) 694-1755 or 883-2550.
|3. Apply online|
Complete an online Blue Ridge Community College Application.
|4. Request official transcripts|
Official transcripts should be sent directly to the address listed below. BRCC cannot accept unofficial or unsealed copies from applicant.
|5. Take the Pre-Enrollment Placement Test|
Meet with an Admissions Counselor to determine your placement testing needs and sign up for a testing session.
If you prefer to apply by mail or in person, you may simply download the application and mail it in to the address listed below. Applications are also available in Student Services or at the reception desk at either of our campuses.
